Hey, I have a Perrin BOV for sale. It is the exact same one pictured here (http://www.perrinperformance.com/products/wrx/blow_off_valve.htm). It is red instead of black. I will put up pictures in the next day or two. I would accept trades for other BOV as I am trying to find one that fits my new TMIC. This one was too large and was rubbing the top of my engine. I got a MRT TMIC. Really nice from the reviews I read and was on a couple of other stage 4 cars on nasioc so I know it will be sufficient enough for cooling purposes. Im gonna try calling P&L today to see if they will let me send it back and exchange it for a different one. Gonna try the APS one next
I really liked it because the core wasnt directly over the turbo like all the other tmic's ive seen. Its more of a fatty IC, and not so long. Good design imo.
i've got a new version worx here that i'm trying to return as well. it created surge on even the lightest spring setting... if i get straight up credit i would be very interested in the perrin. i shoul dknow by the end of today.

anyone know how loud the Perrin 50/50 is? I wold like one that is more audioable outside the car then stock but not insanly loud and annoying

no thanks...I got the APS one but I am gonna have to ask you to bring that one on the dyno day cause I didn't have time to fit the APS one to make sure it worked with no rubbing issues although it looked like it would. Blubaru still has first dibs on it though come dyno day as he was ready to purchase it but we couldn't connect.
Nothing really...just an alternative design and either louder or quieter, im not sure. Both will give you the same end result of psshhhh
HKS is the full atmospheric BOV, and has a very unique sound where the Perrin is a 50/50, venting back into the intake under lighter loads.
