+1 for a great paint job! Yeah for a DD prolly not my first choice but for the first performance 08' they couldn't have done a better job IMHO.

i dont like the exhuast system. why dont they just use the standard 93-07 style exhuast? it looks like it will fit just fine (DP in same place). all that extra bendy junk for the transverese muffler is a waste of material and robs flow.

because its totally different, from where the exhaust exits, to where the trans tunnel is, to the d/p shape, its all different.

    Quote from Perrin

"The exhaust for the 2008 WRX is very different than any other Subaru in that the muffler transversely mounted. While this adds some more complexity to the system, it adds a new look to the back of the car. Now you can see the side of the muffler and the huge 3†tubing. Subaru obviously did this to cut down space needed behind the rear wheels to help shorten the car."

yeah well i still dont see why they didnt have it exit on the drivers side to reduce the amount of goofy bends.

^ well i might have to.

    why do this:

when you could do something like this and have fewer bends and a shorter system?

EDIT: O IC. they should mod the bumper so it works.

If you don't care that your $6 muffler hangs down 8 inches below the bottom of the bumper, then yes, that'll work just fine. Personally I like having my muffler where the factory one goes.

Those horsepower numbers are pretty awesome. My 02 would be extremely tough to get that much power without some pretty serious mods. Good potential, I dig that and it might blind my view of exterior just enough to like the car.
