Does anyone know of a good free Photo to DVD software? I just got back from my trip and want to put my pictures onto DVD to watch.
I'd just like to add some background music and watch them on a regular DVD. The DVD software that comes with DVD burners is usually an OEM trimmed down version.
If you're running Windows XP/Vista, you might want to try Movie Maker. I'm not 100% sure it'll do DVD authoring, but it will create a variety of movie files. And since you'd be watching this on a regular TV, the picture files wouldn't be too big as the resolution would have to be reduced anyway. A CD might well hold all you want it to, especially if you can build it as a VCD/SVCD that many set top boxes will play. Also, I think the likes of Roxio and Nero allow you to upgrade from their OEM versions to retail versions for a reasonable fee ('reasonable' is a relative term, of course) and most of the retail versions include some software to allow you to build DVD menus and the like. About 3yrs ago, I made up a rudimentary DVD just to test the theory, and I made it using what software I already had on my PC. I just wish I could remember what software it was I used for it. Bloody Halfheimer's ! Stuart.
If you computer came with nero 6 or nero 7, you can easily make a picture dvd with music in the backround. check the cd burning utilities that came with your computer
You keep saying that, but you're kind of light on details. Is this a fee based service you offer, or are you willing to do this kind of stuff for free, or perhaps for a six pack and a bag of pretzels. Stuart.
I am able to provide programs and assistance to those in need of computer software. This is a "it depends on if I have time to help you out" thing
