I know there are some really good photoshop people around here...anyone want to change the wheel color in this picture to gloss black, flat black, bronze, white??? I have these wheels on the way from Berlin and I need to know what color to powdercoat them. please and thanks!!
at the beginning of this summer there were 4 in town now there are 10...concave wheels are teh sekz. I ordered these on ebay.de because they are out of production and uber rare. They will be worth every penny. I have not found any powdercoaters that can do hyper black. I was thinking 55% semi-gloss black with chrome lugs. Here is the kit that I'm hoping to get in the spring...it puts down 380 RWHP with an upgraded intake mani and exhaust. 400 RWHP on 93 octane and meth. it will be the best $8,000 ever spent.

personally with those rims.. you could piss on em and they would still look hot.. every one of those colors I loved.. even teh pink
alright, I think red is a winner winner chicken dinner. the wheels will be here in 3 weeks and I have a PC guy all lined up. I might even just have my OEM calipers powder coated at the same time to match the wheels, upgrade to stainless steel lines, upgrade the pads and call it a day. I don't have $5,000 for a big brake kit.
The dark blood red is the meal ticket though, like in the pic. Too light of a red and it wouldn't fly.
Oh just wait...once its rocking close to 400 rear wheel horses, new wheels and tires, etc its going to be a sweet ride. The magnaflows sound amazing too. Maybe next spring ill do some photoshoots, its going away for the winter in a week or so.
yea maximum concave FTW. I am thinking about buying a few sets and selling them to make some money since they are in high demand but people don't want to order them direct from Germany Anyone have a good connection for mounting and balancing?
im still on the fence between black and red because I think red would look like Eurotrash/Rice. It is something that the VW guys might do.
Have you considered just leaving them silver? It is a unique car already and at some point this wacky colored wheel thing will likely come to and end. Just a thought.:dunno:
I'd only powder coat those if they were damnaged... I think they would look fantastic in a matte black though....
I talked to my powdercoat guy, he ordered extra 55% gloss black for me so I am basically set on this now. I could leave them silver...but everyone does. I will be the first person that I know of to have these wheels in semi-gloss black on black. it is going to be sleek as hell. TOO BAD WE WILL ALL HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL ABOUT MAY TO SEE THESE WITH RUBBER MOUNTED ON THE CAR!!!!!! EPIC PATIENCE FAIL.
