I am thinking about getting a light bar and have been researching some options for the Driving lights. I want something that will work as a high beam, because i dont have one with my HID kit. So i was thinking either PIAA or HELLA.

IT would be nice if some of you could share your ideas for the lights and maybe some pictures as well.

Here are the ones i am looking at.

    PIAA : http://www.piaa.com/Lamps/Lamp-pages/510.html

    HELLA : http://www.autoanything.com/lights/69A1325A0A0.aspx

    I like PIAA's more.

piaa, I've had about a dozen sets over the years on various vehicles and never been disappointed.
(usually) a bit more $$$ but you get what you pay for.

    PIAA or Hella?
    Evo or STi?
    Coke or Pepsi?
    Taste's Great or Less Filling?

    I'm missing one, here...

Oh yeah! Apple or Not Apple?

Pick one. Buy it. Install it. Love it. They are both quality products and I'm sure a little internet research time on, say, NASIOC, iwsti, i-club, clubwrx, wrxhackers, or any decently-sized car forum could find you a bevy of comparisons.

Besides, you've already stated that you like the PIAAs more. Which in Taras speak = "I am looking for people to agree with me and will use retard-logic against or ignore anyone who says otherwise.

Oh BTW, Good morning sweetcheeks!

I'm assuming you're going to pick up a rally innovations light bar, since that's what all the n00bs do! ;)
Those 510's are going to look hella small on that bar. You should figure out the amount of space between the upper and lower bar of the light bar itself and then figure out what you're going to go with. I had PIAAs on my light bar, but they were the 540's and they still looked really small.
The PIAAs are more expensive, but they are a nice lamp. You should really look into beam patterns on Hella's website so you can compare and see what you like best. You will break break the glass on your lights, it's guarenteed. Just make sure you buy something you can afford to replace on more than one occasion. On the other hand, Hella makes some nice lamps and you can buy a full time protective clear cover, which is great. You wont have to take the white Hella cover off and the black PIAA cover is plain UGLY in my opinion.

Don't forget the ever popular Lightforce lights found at www.lightforce.com

One last quesiton. What beam are you going with? Euro? Fog? Pencil? or Driving?

Not sure if i will go with Rally Innovations one or make one like Carl has. I really like the way R. I. looks. I am looking for driving or pensil style. I need highbeam lights, because i dont have it with my HIDs.
