    Hey All!

Recently picked up a 2005 Legacy GT 5 speed with just under 100k! Unfortunately the car has rod knock and will need bottom end motor work. I haven't torn into the motor yet, but will make a build thread once the motor is out. The car sat since feb of this year so it needs a good cleaning on the interior and exterior. It has a few scuffs and dents, but for a 12 year old Minnesota car it's in pretty good shape. I think with a good clay bar, wash and wax it will shine up pretty good!

Not sure which direction to go with the motor build yet. I've got an 08 sti short block with a spun bearing on cylinder#3 that I'm thinking of using for the motor build, or at least the case halves and either going with forged pistons/ rods with a new crank and possibly a vf52 or gt28 swap for an autox machine. or a finding a running long block for a stock rebuild for a reliable winter car.
