Picked up a new subaru....

with a 22" auger, 2 stage. Ready to throw some snow! Never knew Subaru made a snowblower engine! Picked it up at Home Depot, its pretty sweet, electric start, knobby tires and lots of scoop height.

 

what brand? I am in the market for a new snow blower as well.

 

Home Depot has Subaru engines in all their matter moving equipment... I think.

 

I think the engines are made by Robin, something like that. I had a generator with a Subie engine, not quiet but lasted forever, sounds familiar.........

lol! I still have to assemble it. The brand is Ariens, a home depot brand. Some of them have a subaru engine and some dont. The cheaper ones have some other brand motor. I'll take some pics when it is put together, maybe some action shots once we get some snow! I'm ready for it now!ha!

I love my ariens snow thrower. I got a 27" and I can do my driveway in about half the time of the neighbors l.

According to Ariens' web site it has directional tires. Be careful when you rotate them.
