1995 Mazda Miata with 63,000 miles. one owner. california car. has the upgraded torsen LSD. plans are: suspension, hardtop, roll bar, wheels/tires, and have some fun! oh and turbo kit sometime next year.
Very nice. 94-97 is the best year. Have fun with it, turbo is must for this car otherwise it's too slow
Lesbo-mobile to a gay pride convertible... and Jackie Chan in your avatar. Im not judging, Im just saying Congrats on the purchase! Im sure youll enjoy it.
Damn! Very clean. I am getting a fully built long block for my 90 Miata. It's a handful with 200hp, I am sure 300 will be a lot of fun!
Drop that Torsen, get CUSCO Type RS 1.5way or 2way. haha Much better option for RWD fun! Eveytime I look at your avatar I'm thinking.... Did I post that? LOL
Dude! You should have bought my 94 m edition! I've got a set of snow tires for you if you're interested.
i need to pick up a new daily. 06+ accord before i dump any money into this. i texted you earlier btw not a fan of the green with tan interior. And i wont drive the car in the winter so i have no need for them. but pm me a pic of the wheels/tires, i might know someone interested rc im assuming? pm me a price, and details like miles and stuff
flip phone broke in half.... this one was saved with a battery but now the screen is cracked so I can't make it do anything really... no more music... no texting for calling. Just answering calls. lol
I'd say call it good at 200hp. I have been trying to get 300 whp out of my old protege for years (same motor but lower compression and come taped for oil and water for a turbo OE)! I've also turboed miata for a guy and with the 150ish he putting down it's gets a little tricky keeping it behind you at times. The BP head just doesn't flow right to make over 250ish with out a ton of work then you'll lose the just get in it, drive, and have fun that the miata's are so known for. But that's just my view...tho a 99 BP head swap, big cams, and a HX-35 would be kinda sick.
I was making 280hp on my stock bp engine with a stock head and only gtx rods. That was only with 12 pounds. What year are you reffering to?
Very nice car. I am still on the fence between one of these or the new 818 project when/if it comes out.
Oh it's totally do able. The BP (or the B6 for that matter) is one of the better "boostable" motors IMO. I ran 14-18 psi though my stock motor with a VJ-20 (the GTX that we didn't get here ) as it stands right now the POS has a HX-35, Megasquirt, and GTX rods. All I'm saying is in my experience that it's best not to over do it and just have fun with it.
