    Heres some pictures of my car at Pikes Peak that i took on a trip this summer.
    Just thought some of you might like them.

    Either you seriously did go to Pikes peak and took those pictures or you photochopped them to try to impress us. ...well I'm impressed either way! ;)

    No i don't really have any mods yet, just a short ram air intake. They will come in the future when i am no longer a broke college student.
    And yes i really did go to pikes peak, it was in July on our way home from California. It was a good time i wish i had taken more pictures there.

    Nics pics, but where are the action pics of the hillclimb? you need some motion-blurs flying up the hill with rocks/dust flying all over the place.

    nice pictures. it would be fun to drive the hill climb, but i think i would be too worried about my paint to go all out. especailly w/ out mud flaps

    Which is funny because I think I did more mods to my first Impreza when I was in college than I did with my last one :lol:
    But then I folded that one in half :roll:

    One of those pics you can see our own Mark Utecht's car front and center. I had been hoping to go see the Rally America run of PP with my RS-T so that the previous owner, who lives in Boulder, could see what I had done with the car. Well that and it was a free place to stay :)

    Man that Evo VI screams JDM!!! Something you don't see everyday. Can just about anyone run at Pikes Peak? A novice like me would fall off 5,000 feet trying to impress the crowd, not to mention get laughed at going slow as hot carl. This is on my to do list B4IDIE. Road trip anyone?

    Yes, Mark has "Bloomington Subaru" decals all over the place. In fact, there are two Bloomington Subaru cars. I always say hi to them and tell em I'm up in Bloomington sometimes and they don't care. Those guys are not friendly! And on top of that, Bloomington Subaru is also not friendly! And also, Bloomington Subaru has no idea who those guys are... strange!

    Yes, just about anyone can run. But you and the car need to qualify. Roll cages are a must along with many other saftey things. The Subaru dealer in Colorado Springs is happy to support those who rally at PP. They will do many power mods to your car without voiding the warranty! They are very friendly!

    Yes it is easy to fall off. Many people die, usually because of mechanical failure but also driver error :( There was one driver that died right before the race started during a practice run this year.

    Earlier this summer was the last PPIHC. By next year it will be paved and this long held tradition will be gone. So I'm glad I went to the very last one! So speaking of road trips, if you're gonna go, be sure to go before the road is paved! I've raced/gone fast up the road before and it is a life changing experience! You become one with your car. 8)

    Well the bf always teases me that he will pay for the mods on the 2.5RS, but that will be the day.
    Maybe when he finishes paying back for his bike!!!

    I doubt it will be paveled to the top. I have gone out there a couple of times for the ppihc and they say the same thing every year. From one year to the next they added maybe a half mile of pavement to get up tp the picnic grounds, but I don't think they have gone any farther than that. Anyways, nice pics. I miss that place.

    I think he financed his bike through this new company .. LINDSAY INC! No APR .. just pay back whenever you feel like it. Oh, and spend money on pointless crap while you're at it.

    I know you are giving me a hard time because you are not one to talk. I am pretty sure there is a particular Bank of Shannon with the same type of situation. Except maybe her boyfriend has the money but just doesn't like giving it to her.

    I was just starting to think Andover wasn't such a great place to live, but apparently the women north of the "ricer/redneck line" spend all their money on their man instead of vice-versa. Hmm, maybe I should stay out in the sticks.
