I noticed in this video...car has non U.S plates... and it has the same pig sticker that many people on here have... I thought one of the guys on here designed it?? anyways...kind of dumb, but it caught my eye...:eek3:

Yeah, it's from a magazine for little Japanese girls. It has nothing to do with rallying other than the Subaru WRC car had them on the rearview mirrors because they were a sponsor or something.
OHH... I thought I remember the dude with the white bugeye saying he designed em' or something... didn't know it was the "rally pig" sticker from a magazine. haha oops.
hah...yeah I thought thats what I read...but I probably read it wrong. I kind of like that sticker though.
No I don't believe it is a sponsor, as the story goes Solberg is a fan of the magazine in Japan (which is a provocative *legal* teen magazine) and put one of the stickers that comes in the magazine on his car. After that it just kind of stuck.
"The pig is a mascot for the Japanese manga (comic) magazine Young Magazine. It's always somewhere on the cover... The pig appears on Petter Solberg's rally car. For the past two years the pig has only been on the driver's side mirror. Back in 2002 it showed up on the co-driver's side as well, but that seems to have been dropped now. It ONLY appears on Petter's car -- Mikko's car doesn't have it, and Tommi's (when he was with Subaru) did not either. Toshihiro Arai (in the Production championship) has the pig on both of his side mirrors, as well as a little piggie on his driving suit.
