it was funny because this is his first new car, but meeting him was way cool he was really down to earth and how he talkes in on the show is how he talks in real life. but it was an experience

Uh, they used to film down at one of the drag strips in FL, and it's a load of BS. People weren't really loosing their cars. They did for the show, then got it back (along with a nice check) after the show. At least thats what people who went down to spectate reported.

 

well who knows either way i like the show and i thought it was really cool to meet him.

 

Sorry, I wasn't commenting on meeting him, or the coolness factor of it. Just the show itself.

 

i know, i also think that they just dont give up the cars cause if you look it does not look like they are signing titles it just looks like a piece of paper

 

but then again i dont know how it works also just saying what i think.

 

From what I gather they really do lose there rides. There was a thread over at TCS about this and some of the guys knew a couple shops who sponsored some of the cars and they really did lose the car, some of them had the chance to buy them back after the show though...

 

Makes sense to me. Anyone pulls anything nowdays it's all over the internet and that show would lose all credibility. I like the show but he definitely makes it what it's worth. Many of the racers ask for too much and whiney. He keeps them in line.
