Does anyone have a pitch stop laying around that they could snag the dimesions off of? It would be much appreciated.

maybe I can find it after I get home from work. I replaced mine with an aluminum/durlin one off of someone from nasioc or ebay - works great, noticably stiffer. Anyway, I should have mine laying around. What dimensions do you need?

The 2.5" thickness is that the diameter of the big circle? same with the 1" or is it really that thick then taper down?

@ the thickest point. Which is @ the bushing.

k thanks, do you know how thick it would be with out the bushing? Because I am going to have to either make my own or find a place that has them. also thanks a million for the dimensions brian! would you like one of these?

It might be easier to find a bushing that will work in the space you need, and then design the pitch stop mount around that.

I've thought about making my own as well, but it's down the list quite a ways.

already getting these made. FYI aluminum doesn't do well with heat cycles, but it's still and improvement over plastic.

It doesn't get like motor mount hot but its under your hood, driving around in the summer it's not exactly cool under there.

A basic 6061 T6 aluminum arm can more than handle anything your engine bay can dish out. If it even got close to where it became an issue, any bushing would lose it's integrity.

Or get a steel unit from an old car. Those don't break.

the thermal conductivity of aluminum is far greater than steel or plastic so the mount would last longer, as piddster said any 60 series aluminum is pretty durable.

If you need any CAD work done I could help with that.
