I'm liking this for wheel color options. Where's the best place to get this stuff? I see it at Menards but in very limited color selection.

The link Ben posted is $8 a can + Shipping. Best option for all the colors.

ACE Hardware by my house only has Black, White and Red.

I thought you said that you didn't think it would work well with brake dust when we were talking about white wheels!

I would love to try out my Grids in Neon Plastidip. I might have to buy a can come spring.

I just dipped my rear WRX badge black earlier this week and I have to say i like it much better than the silver. considering doing the front WRX badge white to keep the whole black/white contrast thing going but that might be a bit much, I'll probably just do the front in black too. I do like all the new color choices here though.

I've heard that same thing...but only concerning the white plasti-dip. No idea why.

How warm do you have to be to be able to apply that. I'd love to spray some on my stock wheels for winter. Some bright colors.

I would guess 40* or 50* .... If I remember I can check a can of mine when i get home in an hour or so. Either way, spray in an open area. This stuff is hella bad to breath in.

I actually just dealt with this doing my rear badge outside earlier this week, I tried to do it the first time when it was like 34 degrees out and it didn't work too well, it seemed to kinda of freeze up before all the little air bubbles popped and it came out pretty rough ended up having to remove it. Did it again a couple days ago when it was pushing 50 degrees and everything came out great, probably gonna do my front badge on Saturday since it looks like we might get back up to 60, but if it is close to freezing temperature out I wouldn't even bother with it.

Is it one can per wheel or one can for two wheels.

I would think you could get away with 2 cans for 4 wheels. Apply a few coats, the more coats the easier it is to remove. If you run out of black hit me up, I think I have a 1/2 can in my garage still.

The website recommends laying down a couple layers of white before the colored coat...is that actually necessary?

I think the white undercoat is just so the color of the wheel doesn't show through. I think you can do a set of 4 wheels with about 2 cans. We did my brother's wheels this summer and they still look pretty good. Some minor peeling, but not too bad. We'll probably redo them over the winter. I don't think I would do it unless it's over 50F or so.

My front grill and badges have been dipped since spring, no issues. Wheels are different, but when rattle canned my grill would already be chipped..

I plasti dipped my wheels about 4 months ago they are still looking good but its a pain trying to clean brake dust off without rubbing it off, I also have my rear badges dipped will see how it holds up this winter!

Fellas, I have NO idea where you'd find some perfectly usable struts;) BTW these struts I have no idea about will be accessible today as I need to uncover and dig around in the trunk anyway.

    Alright back to neon colorzzzzz!!!!!!!!!!

Aw poop, this is one thing I didn't think about...can you even clean the brake dust off the wheels without rubbing off the color? I want to plasti dip my summer wheels, but I'll also be running aggressive pads that cause a lot of brake dust. Hmmmm

I meant $200k, and if you're spending over $8 for a condom, then you're overpaying.

How so? I would say $8 condoms and no kids are quite relative.

I ordered the blaze orange matte kit for my winter wheels from dipyourcar.com, it comes with 4 cans of orange and 2 cans of white. It should be here Thursday, so I'll have to go get my tires mounted so I can dip them this weekend. Will post back with results...
