and stop posting anything that even hints a little of politics. politics are to be discussed drunk at a bonfire, not on the internet let alone an automotive forum. yea yea this IS the off topic section but that dosnt mean you should go and post political banter on this site. offtopic is for when you just have to talk about peens or post a joke about smelly pirate hookers. go post in some political affiliated forum if you just HAVE to post things about war and politics. I would rather read threads about children being raped by walking, talking mailboxes than read another damn word about politics. I will be waiting for someone to post a topic about peens and smelly pirate hookers. that is all.
I just talked to your mailbox, it said that your pirate hookers left this morning at 4am, and that they were coming back to give the mailbox a "freebie."
^^^I would agree. But to stay on-topic in the off-topic section, there's the old adage that says, "If you don't like it, don't look at it."
that dosnt stop anyone from watching the ghey pronz...... :eek3: no I understand, I just figured it would be a good idea to stray away from that topic due to the recent banningz
I overcame that in the Seoul Pub in Korea. I got into a heated political/environmental debate with some Irish backpackers. The conversation ended in a happy drunken haze with me and the Irish dudes partying until the bar closed. Very good times. I wish I'd kept their contact info because they were ****ing cool.
haha! Yeah, there can be "worthwhile" discussion on politics or whatever, as long as people understand how to debate or discuss issues. I like facts, numbers, sources and such. I also like to learn from other people. I just like to hear what other people say, in case they have something to say that I didn't know, or found interesting.
but usually that doesnt happen over the internet.. I mean me and etchy got lovers tiff happening over internet stuff, but get along quiet well in person... and would have on teh same topic I am sure in person...
Only people with advanced degrees should be allowed to talk politics on the internet. Muhahahaha :lollol:
Yeah, lawl at all the people on this board that continue piss and moan about how fascist the moderators are and then in another breath piss and moan about open discussion involving something they don't like.
They don't stand a chance running like pinko-liberal commies. When Dems can find more conservative candidates, you are screwed!
The internet is a bad place to do it. Too many people think the internet is "serious business." With both the anonymity and lack of the dynamics of an in person coversation (facial expressions, body language) it is much easier for an internet debate to decend into flaming. I can't really shut up about policis in person, but on the internet i try to stay away unless it is something law related.
Bah - most people are too *polite* to talk politics in person. Weak sauce. I'm happy to talk politics anywhere with anyone.
Honestly, the whole point of democracy is lost when people are too damn uptight to even debate anything.
I bet they think that it looks good, honestly. Why else would you put so much time and effort into it? It's sad.
