3 weeks after starting my new job i was let go! my boss said i was to quiet but i realized that he only hired me so i could cover the three weeks that one of his employees was gone. Any way does anyone know of any job openings in the west metro?

You can call our Brooklyn Park Nissan store, I know they were looking for a parts counter guy. Decent pay, good benefits and you get parts for 10% over cost. Ask for Cam, he's the parts manager over there. I don't think they've hired anyone. Otherwise, I know that there's usually positions open at several stores for Service writers, service runners and lot people. How old are you? How's your driving record? i've applied at a few dealerships.. brooklyn park is just to far for me and i do have an accident on my record from about 8 months ago so i think that throws off the whole lot attendant thing out.. otherwise i will go ahead and contact a few local dealerships.. thanks
If it's just one accident, I wouldn't worry. Besides, we had a salesguy and a customer testFLY (Yes, I said FLY) an STI and not get canned for it. It's only if you've got a bunch of accidents or tickets that they can't get you insured to drive their cars. Where are you located?
haha when i went in to look at the 06's i heard that story.. the guy i spoke to said he got canned though... something about 100 and hitting a curb head on.. anyway.. i live in victoria MN its about 15-20 mins west of eden prairie so i takes almost 50 minutes to get to BP with no traffic.. anyway i applied at bloomington subaru and morries minnetonka and they both said they were not interested
It was probably me you talked to. He did get canned, but it was for a few other reasons. I'm sure that episode didn't really put in a convincing case to leave him around. Besides, it's not that hard to find 3 or 4 to replace him. Have you tried Burnsville Subaru? Might be the same distance or even shorter as Bloomington.
id love to its just to far.. id really like to find something local..my last job was .5 miles downt he road.. i know its unrealistic to find something that close again but id like to stay under 15 miles
Hey, what kind of job do you want? I mean, we all want to get paid for sleeping at a desk, but what have you done in the past? You mentioned retail. If you don't mind being on your feet, Menards will start you at $11/hr, an extra $2.50/hr on weekends, and work you like a dog with time and a half overtime after forty. No crap, I know people that put in seventy hour weeks.
