It has plug wires??? OK. It doesn't have the coils right on the plugs? I was sure they did.

you should have idividual coil packs, thus no plug wires.

stock plugs run the best unless you start getting crazy

I'm just in desperate need of a tune-up and i've never worked on this engine before. But the warranty is up and i'm ready to start on getting the hands dirty. small stuff first, steak later! No plug wires, good to know! How long do the copper plugs last? Is it worth the money to get stock plugs and let the subie dealer install?

You can get a 20% discount to take it to any morries Suby, there is also quite a few guys on here that do great work, with reasonable prices, cheaper than the dealership.

Go with stock plugs from mtka morries and you do not need wires as the coil packs are right on the plugs. 40 buck for 4 plugs and you are set, just make sure you get 4 of the same. (that happened to me got 3 right ones and one wrong 1)

Brooklyn Park suby right up the road. 20% off sounds good, but hooking someone else up with some loot sounds good too if anyone is interested in an assist tune-up. would be nice to see the work being done so i can learn more about doing the stuff myself, can't do that at the suby dealer!
