i think we should organize a meet here in my town... every thursday in the summer from like 6-9 there is a classic car show at the drive-in... usually about 10 imports show up for whatever reason but i think it would be cool to have all you guys out possibly on one of those thursdays to eat and check out some of the sweet classic cars... eric, tim, and martin are locals so maybe we could set a date... oh yea, drive-in food is the shiznit... bigup to the west burbs massive matt

guessing you are talking about the minnetonka drive in? yeah, i'm usually there on thursdays but not so often now since i live farther away. but the imports usually park across the street that i usually notice.
i'm sure if we get there early enough we could atleast get the back half... it's kinda funny where everyone parks actually... all of the front of the drive in is primarily classic cars (and dumbasses in pickups, good news buddy your v8 sounds like balls) then there is the back half where imports and bikes fight for room but good food anyways mox
this is a good idea. the food there is pretty good, and if i rember correctly the prices arnt too bad. it would be pretty sweet to get a mini or full sized subie meet going there (extra cool since its like 1.5mile from my house). anywho i think this is totally doable since we have already since prolly 3 or 4 members live so close. the Minnetonka Drive-In is located off of highway 15 in Mound, 55364. essentially what you need to do (for all you city folk) is take 394 west for a long way, basically until it ends. the last exit is for highway 15. you would then take that around lake minnetonka (a decent stretch thats fun to drive, but the speed limit is low) that i will spit you out right into Navarre. from there you just keep going straight and the drive-in is a few miles down on the right. BTW: this is kind of a rumor i have heard floating around about the place. it has 2 entraces. 1 on each end of the lot that go onto hwy 15. the rumor is that the owner has some agreement w/ the popo so that ppl can do burnouts as long as its between the entrances and they dont break the speed limit. its only a rumor, so dont quote me on it, but expect to see some melted rubber w/ the muscle cars leave.

here are some directions. 15 wraps around lake minnetonk and dumps out into navarre. so you just keep on going striaght for a ways, and the drive in is on the right. across from it is a big parking lot for a bunch of stores like a ace hardware, and a liqour store. whos all gonna show? i will be thre at 5:55 pm rian or shine. how lon gi stay depends on how many show up.

this goes on every thurs. so its not dire that it happens tonight, but this date was put out there. so i am gonna see who shows up. it might be a very small turnout but you never know. if the turn out blows we will do it later in the summer
