The process has always been that you can't delete a post after you have made another post. So if you go and post something, then post again, you can't delete it.

I can not even delete a post if I don't post after it. Even if nobody has posted after it.

It also doesn't show me if I have edited my post.

Mods: Can't you click the box that allows people to delete their post?

Well, I haven't changed anything on the site that has to do with deleting posts. I will dig into it the next day or two.

The mods don't have admin level access. We'll check with the admins and see what changed. I'm guessing that an option got reset from an upgrade.

    edit, yeah, what Russ said.

I looked and it is turned on. :dunno: You should be able to delete your own posts, but not threads.

Well, I can tell you that it isn't anything that I have done (site upgrades/changes). I haven't been around for the past 3-4 days.

Nothing has changed. You are only able to delete your most recent post. If you post one thng in one thread, and then another in a different thread, you will not be able to delete the post you made in the first thread.

for right now, just delete everything in the box and put all dots or something. Its more work for us but at least that would indicate which posts users want to be deleted.

It's pretty silly though, because nothing has changed in the forum in a while. Perhaps a rule sheet that was used has this parameter in it and it's overriding everything else.

check in the "go advanced" part when you're editing your last post, see if the box is there. This is strange.
