I'm currently at a point in my swap where I'm not super familiar with what I'm doing. The recipient vehicle has a power steering leak somewhere so I figured I would just swap over everything from the donor. I just don't really know how to do that. Has anyone done this before? Maybe you know of a good write-up or YouTube video. Anything helps thanks.

Any info on the donor and recipient vehicles?

It's pretty easy if stay within a generation.

So typically you would disconnect the pump from the engine brackets, subframe brackets and (my preference) the connections to the rack. Then disconnect the rack from the spindles and subframe.

I'm not sure if there is enough space to slide the rack out with the subframe attached or if you'll need to drop the subframe as well

Disconnect the lines at the elbow (prepare for fluid) and drop the steering rack. I must have been thinking about the assembly upsidedown

You'd do better too if you did the dishes once in awhile and scraped the **** off the pans.

I have a better chance getting her to work on my cars than I do getting her to do the dishes.
