I guess Mr. Bush is in town over in Minnetonka, expect some traffic delays over on 169 this afternoon, w00t!
if you make it 3 steps out of your car on an overpass today without getting tackled/ manhandled by 13 well dressed men in black suits and ear pieces.... i'd be suprised.
The two n00b techs here ran out by the 394 fence as the first of the Burbans were rolling by, and the suit's that were in the slow riders cars were staring questionably at them. Didn't see any guns, but they were in there somewhere! Didn't see the Bush either, always gotta have the panties to cover it up!
I just hate polotics in general. They might as well just call it "Vote for the lying A-hole!" I won't choose a side. Hate Bush, Love Bush. Either way...politicians are lyers!
Hating bush is easy. It’s trendy. His public speaking skills get him on the top 10 list of funniest videos so people take license to make fun, which is fine. It just goes from there on to people saying meaningless things like ‘whens the _____ gonna be in town? I’ll have to go give him the finger.’
Traffic was relly messed up out in wayazata. they eneded up closing 394 west from 169 ---> Navarre. there were cop cars blockign all on ramps, and driveways that lead onto 395W and parts of CR 15. they only had the main rodas closed long enough to get the pres. there. however 15 was blocked off for a significant amount of time, between orono orchard rd, and cr 51. leaving me to belibe he was somewhere in between there. also placing me within 1sq. mile of him .
It's not going to "destroy traffic" I grew up in DC and they get him in and out quickly. It's usually not a very big deal.
air force one is bad ass. and yeah, id really like to see guys from a minnesota subaru forum walk up to the president and tell him how to run a country. **** bush haters are annoying.
you never know who other members on here have an opportunity to meet and talk with, maybe one of us was there.
you guys ever seen the video of Marc Ecko spraypainting the airforce one? i will see if i can find it http://www.stillfree.com/ edit: reading into it i guess it was a hoax
:werd: Maybe if we stopped giving welfare checks to people who own Escalades on 24s, our country would be in a better position. Since we are on the topic about politics, here is a joke for you guys (BTW, I'm pretty neutral when it comes to politics, but this was pretty funny): A young woman was about to finish her first year of college. Like so many others her age, she considered herself to be a very liberal Democrat, and was very much in favor of the distribution of wealth. She was deeply ashamed that her father was a rather staunch Republican, a feeling she openly expressed. Based on the lectures that she had participated in, and the occasional chat with a professor, she felt that her father had for years harbored an evil, selfish desire to keep what he thought should be his. One day she was challenging her father on his opposition to higher taxes for the rich and the addition of more government welfare programs. The self-professed objectivity proclaimed by her professors had to be the truth and she indicated so to her father. He responded by asking how she was doing in school. Taken aback, she answered rather haughtily that she had a 4.0 GPA, and let him know that it was tough to maintain, insisting that she was taking a very difficult course load and was constantly studying, which left her no time to go out and party like other people she knew. She didn't even have time for a boyfriend, and didn't really have many college friends because she spent all her time studying. Her father listened and then asked, "How is you friend Audrey doing?" She replied, "Audrey is barely getting by, college for her is a blast. All she takes are easy classes, she never studies, and she barely has a 2.0 GPA. She is so popular on campus, she's always invited to all the parties, and lots of times she doesn't even show up for classes because she's too hung over." Her wise father asked his daughter, "Why don't you go to the Dean's office and ask him to deduct 1.0 off your GPA and give it to your friend who only has a 2.0. That way you will both have 3.0 GPAs and certainly that would be a fair and equal distribution of GPAs." The daughter, visibly shocked by her father's suggestion, angrily fired back, "That wouldn't be fair! I have worked really hard for my grades! I've invested a lot of time, and a lot of hard work! Audrey has done next to nothing toward her degree. She played while I worked my tail off!" The father slowly smiled, winked and said gently, "Welcome to the Republican Party."
