I have a vacuum bleeder for my brakes. It's not working. I'm going to need to pressure bleed them and I can't find one in town.

If you have one that I can borrow (preferably with an Audi cap) please call me at 719-242-8787.

    Thanks.

Thanks for all the offers of help. After I made my post I tried one last time to get the lines bled.

I got the lines bled with some good-ole foot-stomping action. The crappy Mityvac I have (model number 07000, I believe) couldn't build enough vacuum for any line except the one closest to the master cylinder. Since the first line I tried had worked (Audi's are funny. You bleed closest to farthest... strange) I assumed that I'd somehow gotten air into the brake booster and I was screwed.

As a last-ditch effort I called the wife into the garage and had her help me bleed them old-school style (push pedal, open valve, close valve, release pedal). Right away the fluid started coming out the way it is supposed to so I knew I was OK, then.

Once again, thanks for all the offers of help. I think I'm going to either order a hand-pump pressure bleeder or make one so I don't have to worry about this again.
