price check

hey everyone i just bought another subaru imp for winter car. the car has 112000 on it and price is about 3500. i bought from morrires subie. do you think this price is good, the car is 96 4 doors. thanks

 

Ok...Price, if it is in great shape I'd say it is a good deal...Timing belt done on it?

 

It sounds like a pretty good deal, btw other then leaving you stranded the timing belt issue wont kill the motor like on most cars, its a non interference motor

 

Timing Belt...More of a maintenance Thang...Usually Subaru owners are on the ball with it...

I really wouldnt assume just because you bought it from a dealer the timing belt was replaced. Non-interference is sweet, because your timing belt on the 1.8 and 2.2 liters can break and it wont hurt your engine besides making you have to go in and have a new one put on. You're engine will NOT blow up, so preventative maintenance, I guess...

 

Not necessarily...Might what to get the service history checked, if the vehicle has been maintained at the dealership...

 

i dont think so, i think i will check myself. i hope everything is fine for this winter, the car drives ok, i dont think there is a problem in it yet. thanks
