ok so ive been searching and searching on nasioc and other sites and all i can come up with is this bleed of and interupt mode for the prodrive boost solenoid. so far ive come up with the bleed off mode being better, but could be wrong right now i have an fp green with iwg, on the solenoid im coming up with the silver metal outlet on the solenoid goes to the compresor housing, the plastic outlet across the solenoid goes to the inlet and the perpendicular outlet goes to the wastegate? this would be the BLEED OFF mode if i go with INTERUPT MODE the the silver outlet on the solenoid goes to wastegate, the one straight across goes to compressor and the perpendicular vents atmosphere or back to the inlet. also what about restrictor pills? can i just eliminate that Thanks Matt
alright, after a long time and lots of reading and asking questions on nasioc i came up with this... interupt mode is the way to go w/o any restrictor pills. anyone can chime in with your setups though Matt
so when i get a basemap from Clark can i run this prodrive solenoid in interupt untill i get it tuned? or do i have to install this thing like the day of the tune? Matt
It depends on how Clark sets up the basemap, I guess. All things being equal in the map, you will run less boost (over wastegate pressure) with the solenoid in bleed mode.
