Responsibilities Market Research – Identifying new unique product opportunities Product Design, Prototyping, and Testing Documentation-properly follow engineering standards to document all parts in parametric 3D CAD Manufacturing and assembly review of all new products Technical support of all existing products. Sourcing Suppliers and evaluating them based on their capabilities, quality, and cost. Working closely with Suppliers to see product through to Production Level 2 Customer Support Creating User Install Guides Requirements 4 Year Mechanical Engineering Degree Ability/confidence to independently handle all aspects of the product development cycle from concept to production. Ability to design products with aggressive cost and performance targets in mind. Experience in designing parts in a variety of manufacturing processes such as sheet metal forming, machining, casting, etc. 2+ Years Experience in product design. 3D CAD experience, Alibre design experience a plus. Wow, sad I'm a bit late to the thread. I'll raise my hand in this too if there's still an opening. I'm just not specifically a mechanical engineer but a manufacturing engineer which may be a little better fit in relation to machining, assembly, etc, plus I've got a little mechanical engineering and heck even aerospace engineering background, CAD, and all that fun stuff. I just graduated, so uh...yeah, I'm looking. I'll shoot you guys a resume anyways if you're still looking.
