Hey sorry I couldn't make it to the BBQ guys. I had a little work to do on the Subie. Here's what I got done yesterday:

    It has front bracing again!!

Check out that frame rail sectioning.

Suspension is finally put back together with a new strut, sway bar, endlink, control arm, and whole front crossmember.

Wow, it looks really sad in this picture.

I found out this foam piece isn't held down by anything. It just sits on top of the bumper support. I think it makes a clunking sound sometimes when you hit bumps. I secured mine down now so I'll let you know if the sound goes away.

    Nothing like new parts.

    Almost done.

Rear bumper complete. All she needs is paint.

    It has eyes again!

Well after the engine gets here, then it's on to the the shop to paint it. Then I'll be along with you guys whereever you go. Thanks for looking.

    My new wheels! Oh fun.

Nice work on the car... it's coming along fine and thanks for sharing. Since the engine is out, did you do any modding to it?

I get fairly decent prices since I do Auto Body work. I got it from White Bear Subaru. My wheels are Rota Tarmacs in a special Titanium Chrome color that i have never seen before. They look black at night and really chrome during the day. It's crazy. I'm really excited to see how they look at Firestone at night. Pretty soon i guess.

    Kyle,

You may want to give them a call, they currently have a 20% special online, what I've been doing is if I cant find the part number I'll call them for it and order it online and get the discount and go pick it up, they have been pretty nice about it.
Brooklyn Park Morrie's Subaru. Thanks to FOOOOONG!

If you want the Rims to stay white for a really long time I would suggest getting them Powdercoated. It might be a little more expensive then painting them but will be worth it in the long run. Depending on what the other red parts are too, that might be the way to go. The only thing i suggest painting with automotive paint is the actual car. Check up on the powdercoating, it looks beautiful.

If you look up powder coatings in the yellow pages there is a few places that will do it. Also there was a guy at Firestone last time, I believe his name is Tony who said he can do it. I'll point him out to you if we're at Firestone this weekend.
