IS A JOKE. I found out my Cisco phones only have a 59:59 timer on them. I've been on hold over an hour now.

    This is my ranting thread.

1 hour 18 minutes. I'm definitely transfering this to my cell phone when my shift is done. If I'm still on hold at 8 tonight, I will rip someone's head off.

Anyone know voodoo that could teach me a quick curse to cast on the SOB that finally answers this phone?

And yes, I use one every day against my will.

The only good thing about them is setting them to the "ARE YOU THERE" ring.

Note to self: 1 hour 23 minute mark, got transfered to the infinitely ringing phone of NOBODY ****ING ANSWERING.

You better hope they aren't fixing your car. Body shops hate to deal with Progressive.

i hate progressive. they love to screw people over. my sister got in an accident and it was the other person's fault, and they keep trying not to pay for it eventhough the police report and everything clearly states who's fault it was.

anyone know of any cheap car insurance companys?? lol

I was a progressive customer for the longest time...too damn long!
When I bought my WRX, shortly after, I shopped around for other insurance...turns out progressive had been charging me high risk insurance since day 1, even though I have never had a ticket...the only reason the high risk was there was because when I first got insurance, they always charge you high risk for the first 6 months (so I was told by my current carrier) I didn't know that, and probably paid enough extra in insurance to buy another car...
And they didn't even give me a chance for a reacharound:mad:

Yes, this. Progressive has the worst rep with body shops on being cheap, and not wanting to fix underlying problems that cannot be seen by an adjuster until the shop gets into the car. I would never, ever touch them, or let anyone I know use Progressive.

I have made several claims. 2 accident claims and 1 hail damage claim. When I totaled out my 06 WRX I had a check in my hand 3 days after they actually called it totaled. My hail damage claim was fixed at a shop of my choosing without regard for cost, they didn't fight them one bit. My other accident claim was fixed at Abra without a problem. All that and I still pay $750 every 6 months for full coverage on 2 cars....I really dont see what the issue with Progressive is.

i have had good luck too. everything has been fixed fast and paid fast. they even mediated between me and a shop that did some bad work. they were also willing to use my preffered mechanic to assess damage done after a break in and get a proper labor quote to fix the stuff that was broken.

i am switching companies though now because i can save 100 bucks a year on my homeowners insurance and have better coverage for the same amount of money on my cars.

    progressive's homeonwers estimate was ridiculous.
