Project finally started.

I've been STiless for about 7 weeks so far, and today was the first step towards completion of the gt35r custom kit turbo project. We've got everything we need now, the flanges, bendings, just waitin for the turbo itself which should be in this week.




Up pipe completed, downpipe got a good start on it, we still need to modify the injectors, got the bends for the ic piping which wont take long...if all goes accordingly, it should all be done, put together by the end of this week some time.

Ill post more pics as i get more, don't mind the dirty engine bay haha

he ordered the bends from canada, couldn't give you a company name off the top of my head.

lol, company got the turbos from garret on thursday the 29th and hopefully shipped it that day or shipped it friday, so its probably on the way now, so likely not goin to be drivin it down.

im hitchin a ride in my buddys supra tho, so i wont be missing out on any of the fun. i dunno if i wanted to bring it down, cause people might **** with it, key it etc when im not around it.

And yea, tuftes pretty good with his work.

 

I was just wonderin about a protune...

my car should be completely done early next week and i am showing at a car show in canada and leave for friday so its mostly freeway miles...I dont plan on beeing in boost for most complete majority of time, so if i kept my injectors/fuel pump stock and wait till the end of the month to buy em and then get it tuned....will i be ok to run stage 0 map?

If i had to get a protune next week itd probably be at db just to get a basic map set up for my turbo, nothin big
