This is my buddies project Rally car. You had better watch out its a 3 cylinder, putting out 63 hp @ the crank. it has just recieved a "custom" paint job. you can see the paint lined up next to the car. here is the ineterior. it has been gutted and rubber coated for cleaning ease. the custom flame job the trunk, with smoked tails more cutsom flames, and the empty paint cans the hood with cool flames (look close and you can see the ghost flames. (all flames and the roof are painted with rubber undercoating) the front end its a geo. soon it will have a some crazy studded tires, and will hopefully be seen at rally xs and ice events. Keep yours eyes open on teh highway too! (its easy to miss)
I should have kept my old Geo Prizm.. basically lightweight toyota corolla.. lots of turbo options. would have been a great fun car. I'd put a roll cage in there if it's used for rally :-o
Rally?.......um...................I'm afraid It may flip on the first turn BUT since its only 63 hp I don't think that'll be a prob

Thanks for sharing this project of your friend, it'll be an awesome ride. There's a kid by my parents house who has a crummy looking Geo Metro with a hood scoop... looks uninsteresting on the outside and inside but if you look in the engine bay, a B18 VTEC engine sits looking pretty there. He's hitting 11's with with NOS, crazy man.

Holy crap!! That looks sweet, who knew that a geo could look so good. the fumes in there must have been pretty bad.

The orange tire tread gives it that extra kick off the line! lol its just overspray. but the steelies have a fresh coat of black on em. if my buddy gets another civic, he is doing a engine swap. so his old one will go in teh Geo. also he has a turbo set up that is waiting to go on teh geo (waiting to see rally x entry rules beofre turbo) i have him convinced to do teh top mount TMIC and hood scoop.
resurecting an old post for a little update, and for the newer members to admire it got the wheels of the rx7 (yellow one in the background), yes, they have the same lug pattern , not much else, actually, right now it's sitting in the yard out behind the shop, Jeffy's just too lazy to get those tires studded and get out on the lakes!
reminds me of when i was part of the SHO forum, a couple guys made a rwd festiva with a sho motor in the back, they called it fastiva, and it ran 11s belive it or not, with a stock sho engine...awesome
notice in the first pick that chux posted form this last set. on the work bench there are pieces of a ROTORY engine. i am stil telling jeff to put the rotory in the geo. it might be a little hard though with this piece being used as a paper wieght also notice in the second pic that the battery charger is bigger than the actual engine!
ITS ALIVE! just a few days ago we fired that beast up again. we needed to roll it into the shop to put the wheels back on the rx7. we would use the geo steelies on the 7 but we cam across a problem when the 13" steelies would not clear the rotors on the rx7. sadly enough i doubt this car will see the ice this year. not enough time to get the tires done. now for some new shots: this is the dash. this was taken through the sterring wheel. so th silver thign in the middle is the center of the wheel. the red thing above it is the BRIGHT shift light. and of course you gott ahve the 5" tach in there. notice the speedo is at 25mph... i still havent figured that one out. the geo is currently a portable storage comaprtment. it still only has a windshield so it got poly'ed. jeff man putting on a 13" rim with a 16" on the other side. to fight the 16" x 8" tires int ehre we had to beat back the fender walls. Geo Performance Exhaust more pictures in the future. any one know some where where i could host these?
i think the big wheels make it look like an over sized rc car. when the cb radio goes in we are SO getting a huge buggy whip antena to stick out the back!
