Well I finally got my protune set up with DB. Its going to be tuned next weds with the following mods- 3" Free Flow TBE SF intake new top mount 850cc Inectors NGK step colders My goal is somewhere in the low 300's wheel. Then after that i'm planning on setting up another date for the alky to be put in. I dont expect too much out of that but hopefully i'll be able to run a little more boost. I'll post my dyno numbers after i get the tune. w00t!
With our local Dyno's it won't hit that 300whp...On a Dynapack, but not on our Mustang or DD We got any dynapack locals?
hmm well i was looking at cobbs stage 2 map for the STi and it says it puts it at 350 hp, to the crank obviously. I'd say that there is about a 20% loss with awd and that means that i would have to make 10 more hp to the crank than a base map for my car. I think around 300 wheel is attainable. i guess we'll just see. Oh and i talked to the guys at db and i'm just going to have it tuned as is on weds without and fuel upgrades and plugs because thats a whole nother day of work itself. The reason my injectors are so big is if i ever do plan on upgrading turbos down the line all i'll have to do is get the turbo itself..
