People in Australia are apparently wearing flat billed hats driving their Scoobs too. WTF. Figured I'd post a public service announcement to serve as a heads up, douchery has spread worldwide.

Also, might have to ask Nate why Aussies like putting hideous wheels on everything they own.

    Sincerely,
    Mr Curly

On that note... spotted several scoobs I hadn't seen before at sonic last night... all "stanced".

It seems like automotive trends are about a decade behind here (Australia), seeing as a lot of the "tuned" or "modified" cars look like they're straight out of Fast and Furious. I did however see a gorgeous MK4 Supra RZ just outside of Brisbane as well as a nice R35 GTR with BBS LM 3 pieces yesterday in Landsborough...so there is SOME hope for decently done cars.

Is that at the "Garage Geeks" meet or whatever? It's a ****ing irony parade out here lately. Garage Geeks sounds like a meet for gear heads that car more about function than form...filled with retards that stance out their cars. RiceKiller meets filled with some of the most ricey cars the twin cities has to offer.

Hence why I typically ignore both, not to mention I have ZERO desire to pay to bring a car to a show filled with douches (RiceKillers).

Are they white hats? Also, do they leave the stickers on them?

Garage Geeks seems to be pulling a whole different demographic recently. I'm not sure what's going on there. If it continues trending they way it has been the last few weeks it's going to be pretty interesting come summer. By "interesting" I mean "overflowing with teentards and summarily shut down for general douchenozzlery". It's not that bad now, but it was much more enjoyable just a month ago. The vibe is changing rapidly and I don't think it's going to do anyone any favors.

RKC is a whole different ballgame. I won't go into my thoughts on that "club" other than to say their mojo clashes with my mojo, and it isn't a "growing pains" issue. That's just how they are.

You have to pay a dollar to go and park at the Ricekiller events. Not that big of a deal but I wonder what they use that money for?????

likely whores, yes, then stash some aside for booze and maybe bribes or something... but when every meet is a dollar, and they're stealing it from everyone...no thanks. that, and I personally thought Troy seemed like a douchenozzle.

It's just a dollar and they do provide a service. If someone else wanted to step up and put the time and effort into organizing a weekly meet of that scale for free, I'm sure people would show up. For now, I'm content with spending $1 every few weeks to have a good time and meet new people. I'm sure it also keeps some of the riff-raff out and keeps traffic to a minimum (less people just driving through, making noise, endangering people, etc). Good thing we all get to choose our own actions!

Did someone imply you're not allowed to choose your own actions? I'm confused.

Orly? I've met with him and talked to him a few times, i detected no douchnozzlery from him. He works hard at making things happen for the RKC group. Given, i have had bad experiences with RKC and their ricer flybys on 694...but that's not his doing.

"Supposedly", they are making money over there that contributes to their bigger events. Wish that we did that here.

I don't think so. Did I imply that someone did? I'm sorry that you're confused, I hope you get things straightened out.

Yes, its getting flat brimmed and testosterone heavy in here. We are just a few posts away from a bro-down. Then it will be a contest to see who is wearing the most Monster energy drink crap. "My bill is flatter than yours, fgt. U mad bro?"

Followed by "I can hang out at rice killer meets, bro. Slammed on 18x11 wheels and 225 tires isn't rice, bro."

"I watch a lot of KFC, er...UFC, so you may wanna step off, bro"

just an update, there are a lot of well done cars in Australia as well, but are completely over shadowed by the ****.
