I was cruising to work this AM about 6:45 on Prairie Center going the speed limit. I know cops in EP are everywhere and really lame. Now I know it's for sure. I was rolling up to the stop light at Prairie Center Dr where you get on to 312/5 west. I had a green arrow and I was not going a lick over 40 as I turned the corner. There was the fuzz sitting on the off ramp waiting for a light and he said that my tires were squeeling around the corner and that's why he pulled me over. :hsugh: I explained to him that I wasn't speeding and I am also rolling winter tires that need a little more pressure. They squeel all the time. Even when I'm going slower. Luckily, he just gave me a warning for that and ofcourse I got another tint warning as well. The tint is not coming off, I don't care how many warnings or tickets I get. He measured it at 32%, but it doesn't look near that dark. He also contiued to tell me that my radar on the front glass is illegal. I know this, but he told me the radar was illegal as well. :ugh: Looks like it's time for a hardwire and a permanent mount above the mirror off the glass. No tickets, but he still made me late for work.
Shutup OCB. lawl ocb ocb ocb And yes, I get tickets because........ Well, I'll blame this on my red hair too.
Lol, never gotten a ticket. Used to get pulled over all the time in my 86' Cutlass though, I guess being black and owning a G-body was a suspicious combination, lol. Cops will always harass, its their job. Grats on not getting a ticket though.
hey im at EP center right now! only working until 9:emo:. beautiful mall. first time ive ever been in here.
I don't ever want to go to 50% May as well just not have tint if it's going to be that light. 50% sucks! Allie:: I had a pick today for routes due to high sales the previous day. I was late and therefore lost my pick. They had a pickup in Hudson that was scheduled after three. I have first pick tomorrow though, so I'm going to bed now to be punctual tomorrow!
I hear that EP cops really don't like tint and exhausts. I try to keep my throttle foot on the down low whenever I go through there.
Sorry to hear about that Dave If you don't mind me asking, what are your ins. rates like, especially since we both live in the same zipcode... incase I procure an Impreza of some version in the future. Where Hwy 5 and 312 merge together is notorious for Police to camp. You shoulda seen it back in the day, old and :emo:. I worked at the EP West and East theaters around 1998.
Esperunit:: I have no exhaust mods, so this is a plus. Tint, not so much! 98 Legacy:: Yea 5 is always bad, but again it was a bs thing to pull me over for. I wasn't doing anything illegal. I pay 140 a month for full coverage. 100/300/100 with American Family. Chris:: you push everyone over the edge!
I have one ticket dropping off at the end of this month and then it's clean. Maybe lower rates then! WooHoo
