Eh, the gay flares dont do it for me, mainly because I'm a street car type of guy, and they serve no purpose on the street.

the 4age motor is not that strong of a motor it is just a well known motor to be put into those cars. but i do admit that is the best car to put it into. i just makes i well balanced. side note... a true is300 came with a inline 4 under the bonet not the inline 6 we see in the us. its all about balance with a vehicle not all out horsepower. awesome car though. wouldn't mind one at all.

HERE is a different pic where its better viewed. non wide angles

and NMDAYTIME is totally right. those motors arent the best when it comes to longevity. but they are cheap and easy to find for the most part. its all about balance.
i like the 4cyl they put in the altezza. its upsetting that they put an N/A 2jz into it...just IHO

here it is! i love when AE86's put the 3s-ge motor in

    no purpose?

how do you propose the owner gets tires that wide on that car and still have them covered?

i think they look cool as hell, but hey that is just my opinion.

I think you looked past what Mr. L was saying, is there any reason for a Corolla to have that wide of tires? I mean look at the Initial D car, those aren't that wide and everyone is gu gu ga ga over that thing.

*edit* the tires aren't even that wide, look at those crazy offsets.

well id say its not the wide tires he needs them for. those tires look stretched so they arent as wide as you think. its the offset of the wheel that he needs the flares for. im just pointing this out because he could keep the same wheel and tire size with different offset and not need the fenders...

but i do like the oldschool jdm look of the fenders reminds me of ZGflares on old datsuns!
