Hey Guys, I’m getting a group together to see the première of the new Bond film this Friday night, Nov 14th at the Rosedale AMC in Roseville. The film starts at 7:30 but we should get there early because it'll be packed. I ordered five tickets online and will give them to the first four friends who show up at Rosedale with $10 cash. We will meet starting at 6pm at Granite City Brewery (Mapquest: 851 Rosedale Center, Roseville, MN) Then we'll get in line by 6:45 at the latest to grab good seats. It should be noted that several beautiful Aston Martin DBS V12 automobiles were totally destroyed during the making of this film. They sacrificed their mechanical lives for cinematic beauty. We will have a moment of silence before the screening to honor their memory. :emo: Post up if you'll be joining us!
You might want to get to granite city a little earlier... or maybe get reservations (if they take them). Also, parking below the restaurant/theater area (by panera) is usually a lot less hectic. Sounds like a good time and I'm right down the street, so I'll see if the gf wants to go.
+1 billion, I don't even try to park up by the theater anymore.. I usually hit up the movies for new releases on Sunday afternoons, its only 5 bucks and its usually a lot less hectic..
just finished watching it.. wanna know the ending??? seriously.. be good to see on the big screen that's for sure... little intense to keep up on a 15in screen.. ha ha
Okay, we'll be at Granite City by 6pm tonight. Look for the Quantum of Solace movie poster at our table. I've had a few cancellations already, so I'm only expecting three or four of my friends to show up. We'll have room for y'all!
I didn't like it so much. maybe cuz I was still a bit tipsy... so my review is out for another viewing
casino royal was better, and thats not saying much. this bond movie barely met the low expectations i set for it, and i have many reasons, the first being that it would have been a much better movie if it was rated R like all other good movies that weren't created for preteens.
I liked it a lot jamed packed full of action like a bond movie should be. The most recent 007 movies have less gadgets and more edgy action with bond getting his butt kicked and kicking some major tail. I wish they delved a bit more into what the quantum of solace group is but perhaps more for another film I give it * * * * out of 5
Lots of good fight scenes and great opening driving scene. Lots of twists too... I didnt like how it ended to soon though. It just seemed like it was to the final scene all of a sudden. But all in all i really did enjoy it.
