Does anyone or is it fairly common to just lower the front end? It doesn't seem like the gap on the rear of my car is anywhere near the fender gap on the front. It's an 04sti btw. Anyone?
u could.... and have the 'raked' look..... lowering the car for fender gap is the ricer way. lowering a car for 4-corner balanced reduction of center of gravity and better weight distribution around a corner is another reason.
I disagree, not lowering your car because you like driving a car with wheel gap like a monster truck is the ignorant way. Although I love the subies, I don't think they did a very good job on wheel gap with the US wrx and sti's. Yes yes, rally this rally that, I know where the car came from, but then why doesn't the EVO have the same jacked up look? Lowering your car for better performance is always a given. On the other hand, modifying just the front suspension for looks and thus generating a crazy bad overall suspension setup is pretty laim.
