Ok, my passenger side mirror is loose. It's tight enough that it won't fly off, but loose enough that it'll swing back and forth when driving high speeds. Anyone know what screws I need to make it like a normal mirror?

Sooo, the mirror assembly mounting to the car is loose? Or the mirror on it's perch is loose(that allows it to break-away)?

I had the breakaway part break during a carwash making it all flippy floppy. I ended up taking it to the dealership(still under warranty). The needed to replace the whole mirror assembly, as internal parts are non-servicable(pretty standard). Something like $250 if it wasn't covered. I was ready to e-bay a set of non-electric mirrors for ~$50 if they denied the warranty claim.

i didn't pay any attention to what needs to be uncovered to bolt the assembly to the door, but on previous cars it's required taking the door panel off.

well if your whole mirror is loose then pop open the corner plastic cover on the inside (car) and see if any nuts/bolt are missing....
