Me and my buddy (sti hog) were wondering if it would be possible at all to install the stock sti exhaust on to my '04 2.5 rs. He just bought the spt bosal exhaust and has no need for his stock exhaust so it might be something worth trying to do. thanks a lot guys.

I have done 2-3 of them onto earlier rs's.. yes it is possible... takes a flange, some cutting maybe some pipe (little bending) and rewelding...

I charge $50 to do it....

Hmmm how long would installation take? Any performance gains, i am guessing no, but the sound would be much better though right? By the way I am not sure as of now whether me and my buddies will do the install together or at all so we'll see.

takes about 30-45mins a piece.... gives it a deeper rumble but not a huge power gain I would think... very nice change in sound though

would the installation void any warranties at all? and if it doesnt then i will prolly do it whenever i get the money. the rs is going to be the car i am driving for awhile until i can get an sti but until then i gotta make sure that if anything does happen to the car that the warranty on the car would be fine.

should be ok with a warrenty.... any time there is a question with the dealership about the warrenty, the dealership has to prove the part installed is the problem or problem starter
