Question for STI BBS owners

I was wondering if anybody had noticed weather all of the STI BBS's had STI on them or if some do not? I have a wheel that seems to be genuine BBS that I purchased of another member here, that does not have the STI's molded in?

I've been wondering myself. I have an 05 and my caps say BBS. I would kill for a STI cap.

 

are you talking center caps or actually molded into the make of the wheel along the edge?

 

05+ (5x114) has BBS molded into the rim.

04 (5x100) BBS did not.

 

I have seen some pictures of rims claimed to be 5x100 (04 fitment) that had the STI's molded into them. My silver 04 wheel does not, those pictures must be of the 5x114's and not the right or actual wheel.

My '04 5x100 BBSs do not have the STi in them.

 

I have some 07 STI BBSs and they have STI molded into the wheel and have the pink STI centers..... I here these caps are highly wanted.

 

I'm pretty sure the '08's have STI stamped in to the rim.

 

04 came with BBS center caps, 05+ came with STi center caps. As for something being pressed into the rim, I'm not sure but I think it's similar.

 

Yup, its an 08 thing too.

 

04 STI rims do not have the STI logo cast into the wheel.
05-07 (5x114 fitment) do.
04-06 STI wheels have "BBS" center caps (04 have a black background, 05-06 have carbon fiber background).
07 STI wheels have "STI" center caps.

 

^^ Where did you find your info? I think you're right.

 

I'm anal-retentive, so I just started comparing differences between the different years. I've also seen the different models up close in person.

 

Anyone know where to get STI Center caps and how much?
