Ok, over the course of the next year I will be replacing everything removable on the body of my car with STi versions that are dent, rust, and scratch free. That means both bumpers, doors, trunk and hood, grille, and L&R front fenders. These pieces will of course need to be painted. That got me thinking, do I stay with Silverthorne or maybe go with a diferent color? You see, I'm working on putting together an authentic 1999 WRX STi using only genuine parts. I know they cost an insane amount of money, but I refuse to put anything on my car that's fiberglass or requires double-stick tape. Back to the subject at hand: I have a few questions.
Didn't someone here post a list of all of the genuine subaru colors and their corresponding codes? I'd sure like to see that list again. Second, I need a recommendation for a place that can do the painting professionally and as cheap as possible. I'm hoping my membership here will help me accomplish that. Thanks for helping! Oh, quick plug: My STi seats will be here next week, someone buy my RS seats! ;)

The seats are v6, front and rear. I'll pm Fuji, I had a feeling it was him that had the list but I wasn't completely sure. I'll be willing to spend the money as long as it's a quality job, I want this car to be cleaner than it was when it rolled off the showroom floor. 8)

:D Guilty! I go to Quang's a lot. I can also be found at Pho 79 and if you haven't been there, Saigon Star in Roseville. The Bun Bo Hue is friggin' awesome there! Sorry, that was all a little bit off-topic huh? ;)

You have a good point, white is definitely hot, and it's low maintenance. I'll keep that in mind. :D

Hey Tbone, where's Pho Dau Bay? I'd like to give 'em a try!

pho dau bay is at the end of niccolet...maybe about 2 blocks pass Quangs. Its quite hidden...From past experience, everytime me and t-bone goes there, he gets a quick "high" afterwards...no joke ;).

On topic--- White is Tight, how much were the v6:?

I paid 1100 shipped from the UK. They're in perfect condition, they just need a quick cleaning. Now, I just need to find a set of door cards from a v6 Coupe, that will prove to be even harder I think.
