I've been thinking about painting the loyale lately....so I thought I'd test my photochopping skills and see what it might look like.

going for WRB....could have been better (should have washed it first), but not too bad. complete with the gold "RX Full Time 4WD" on the doors

also, I'm not sure exactly what wheels I'll go with, but they'll be gold.

you shgould start with a clean car lol. w/o the salt/mud spray on the doors it would look pretty sharp. I personally think that the bright colors are too intesnse when paired with really sharp angles.

nice job on the V7 wheels though, they look hawt!

well, I washed it, and redid it. this time working more on the body before changing colors (removed trim, rust spots, and dents). and used Rotas this time.

I call it, "Evolution of an Animal"

I realized that by the time I get around to painting it, it'll probably be using a stronger tranny (i.e. NOT the RX FT4WD one). so I removed that decal. But the middle pic should happen by this summer.

I like the black bumpers and tint. Looking at the pics for 10 minutes or so I think it would look alot better if somehow you could get the front bumper to be flush with the headlights. Kind od like an ae86.

all but the brakes....yea :ugh:. and also full suspension, and hopefully poly bushings.

but they'll probably be red calipers (I need to paint them anyway....).

I've been thinking about the front bumper. but I think this one works well. the stock loyale bumper is 2-3" bigger. but I think this one that was on my '85 looks nice.

oh yea, and hopefully I can get my hands on an RX body kit at some point too. but that'll be a total pain to photoshop.

used this pic of subaru_styles' old wagon for an RX body kit:

    and got this:

is that a factory body kit? looks kinda bling bling for OEM.

are you going with the V7 wheels or something else?

that is a factory body kit. but never in silver. it was only available on the RX coupes, which were only available in white, and for 6 months in '89, black.

naw, just used the V7 ones for the first pic cause I had a good donor pic (83projectbrat's STi from the wheels thread). but I think I'm going to go with the Rota Torques that I've been using in all the other pics.
