I have the Tein S's on my wagon. I like the drop. It all depends on what you are looking for. Some of the Subbie people like the offroad rally feel and look, I am more into the street and autocross.

I am running 18" wheels and had some rubbing issues in the back during hard cornering and large loads. I ended up trimming some of the wheel well in the back a bit. Just the inside lip, nothing crazy like it may sound.

As far as stiffness goes, I don't have much to compare them to. It's stiffer than the stock setup.

I don't know what TheWRX is trying to pull on you. :? You can get the springs for about 130 on ebay right now brand new.

I don't know how this will look...

I took this picture of my car during my lunch break in the Burger King drive through. Maybe I can get a better picture later.

I can't comment on the springs question but I can on the picture. Nice wheels. Did you get them from tires.com/discount tire? ;)

Better... Ebay used. They came with tires for around 700 if I remember right. The rims don't have a rockstar brand attached to them, but I love em.

Just a note... I took that picture with my phone, sorry about the quality.

I'd like to add some advice which is that for autocross these springs are just about some of the worst you could buy. really low, really soft rate = driving on your bumpstops 75% of the time.

Just putting that out there, they're dress up springs only.

Ok, I found the link I was looking for, here's a good chart with the spring rates.

    http://www.ravensblade.com/car/techdocs/spring/spring.html

I have SPT springs + AGX struts, I think they're great, but on 30mph, rough residential streets it can be a bit harsh. So it depends how you're going to be driving.

WagonsRock, nice car, I think I drive past your car on my way to work.

About the whole autocross thing... I wasn't implying that these are great autocross springs. If a car is setup for the rally, it will ride high, if it is set up for autocross, usually ride lower. Man, people are jumpy around here.

I bought these because they were extremely affordable and gave moderate performance gains. I personally dispise the jacked up look that the WRX comes with stock.

For all the "Tein haters", what is your suggestion for a spring, not coilover, that gives you the same ride height and and good performance.

Well...I would most likely end up buying the stech just because I won't be doing any autocrossing anytime soon...but I am consirened because from time to time I like driving really hard...

I will most likey have a follow up thread to this just to make sure that the rims I decied on will work fine with the springs...

    But we'll see...Thanks
