Really, the only difference is the horn on the RFL, which just makes it louder. I have a vid clip of my RFL, but no where to host it. If anyone can host it, let me know. (also, it's in the lowry tunnel so it's EXTRA loud)

hey...no fair, you faster than me...... *sniff*
The HKS works really good for a BOV, you maynot like the screeching whistle that it gives, but.....for me I'd get the HKS one because it functions really well.

i have the type H non rfl if you have ever heard mine. If you are not racing and love the sound just get an atmospheric one. You are going to lose some boost and run rich during shifts but o well. If you end up going to the track just put the stock bov back on.

why would you loose boost? I needed to install a bov on my car to keep boost cuz the stocker can bairly handle 20psi.

OMG I HATE THAT SOUND!!! One night I decided to roll down to midway with a buddy that has a 2nd gen talon with one of those things on his car... A-N-N-O-Y-I-N-G!!! It kept going off every 15 seconds, and I could hear it 6 cars ahead of him! :x He says it even blows off in reverse.

dont full atmospheric lose boost. i thought that was the WHOLE reasoning behind not geting one, other than a little richness between shifts. at least thats what they told me when i dynoed.

The lost boost was due to not enough shims. The rich-shifts are caused by the BOV. Which will slow you down if you aren't tuned for it.

It is unfortunate that the HKS sounds like it does because it is a really good design for a BOV.

Are you sure you lost boost? Do you have a boost gauge? Have you tried it back to back with the stock bov? How much boost did you loose?

+ still on stock turbo or upgraded? I had to ADD another washer (up to 7) to hold 20psi, try using another one.
