I have no experience with the installment of AWD shocks into an FWD chassis, but I warn you that it may not turn out pretty in the end. Try to find a set of FWD GR-2 shocks instead.

The KYB GR-2 Shocks are 15% more stiff in comparison to the OEM RS shocks (which are a bit stiffer than the L shocks already). KYB told me that through an email a couple years back. Because they're stiffer, you'll get slightly better handling at the cost of shock dampening. In other words, your car will feel road bumps a bit more. :p

You know, IF you can make your FWD into AWD and still be able to USE the stock strut, I don't see why a AWD strut won't work for a FWD in the same chassis GC/GM/GF.

I think the only concern would be the valving, but I really doubt there is a difference. Would KYB revalve for the slight weight distib. difference? Not if they want to make money...)

Not a guarantee, but I would think you would be fine.
