What's the best gas milage I could get of an 04/05 STi with full exhaust and basic bolt on's????

Whatever that number is => How can I increase it???

I want to get an STi but I drive like 60 Miles a day, 7 days a week!! So what kind of budget should I set??

If you want a Gas Mileage car ... that is not the one you want.

I know...but I really want that car...So I am willing to spend a little extra for gas..I was just hoping someone could give me an idea in terms of numbers... I do know it's not a gas saver...

You can't have both. Stock, you'll get about 24mpg on the highway. Give or take a couple MPG. As soon as you start throwing mods into the mix, it goes downhill. It wont go up from there. SO figure less than 24mpg.

hmmm...I thought soo...I was calucalting for 20mpg at worst case seniro....but I thought with a specific set up using the accessport it could get a little better that and cruise and set speed when on highway...

If you get a Stage 1 RomRaider tune on the car with the stock downpipe and a decent catback, you can see upwards of 28 PMG. That's about as good as you're going to get.

Any more mods and it will go down drastically.

best case senario would be for u to get as stock sti leave it that way other then a tune to lean it out a little bit and bring up timing and that will get u a few more mpg

I get around 17-20 all city driving with my stock 05 STI. I have a habit of getting into the turbo.

I am not sure if it is applicable to your car..... but a DP catless and Stage 2 tune gave me 3 to 4 extra MPG and a lot more power. That is a WRX not an STI.... someone want to chime in if the results would be similar?

I read that the STI is the one model subaru exempted from implementing the delay between open/closed loop fueling. Does anyone know if this delay inherently affects gas mileage?

The hot side of your turbo will be your biggest restriction. When I had my bugeye with the 18g, I was about 30 or so on the highway. Now in my fxt with the td04, I am around the 26-28 area. I know with a different turbo I could get up over 30 with it. Big thing is getting the tune dialed in for highway driving. Tuning the car on the dyno will not get you what you need. You need to get a road tune while you are driving your "normal" drive. Then they need to maximize the tune for how you drive your car. Slapping on random parts and getting a "wot" tune will not get you good mileage.

In the winter mine fell to around 16mpm when it got real cold. In the summer I averaged around 20.

i'm sure some part throttle tuning could get you into the mid to upper 30s. its just not common for the subaru crowd to do this sort of thing. getting the AFRs into the 14.7 to 16:1 range at your cruising speed will certainty increase the fuel mileage substantially. The idea may be scary to most, but its worked great for others for several years. (300+hp hondas getting 60-70 mpgs, and yes i am aware that subarus are not hondas, but tuning is tuning)
