    Will a set of 215 / 60 / R16 tires work on a stock 02 WRX wheel?

I got the wife the set of Yokahama snow tires for her Sebring last winter, and we're selling the car. They're basically brand new and I would rather use them than get a new set.

    Thanks,

Out St. Boni way do you deal more with ice or snow in the winter?

Acceleration will be noticeably slower. Is that worth $500 to you for the span of the winter? If you do a fair amount of highway driving, you'll get better mileage (but it won't show up on your odo, because it'll be reading wrong), but in-town mileage will probably be a little worse (engine working harder for the same acceleration).

Wider tire means larger contact patch. Better for ice if it's a cellular compound tire, but worse for snow, since it won't bite in as hard.

Taller sidewall is good in winter, though handling feel will suffer somewhat (proobably less so than the mere fact that it's a snow tire).

I do a lot of driving on frozen lakes, so I deal moe with snow.
Maybe I'll sell them and spring for the RSi's...
    I wanted those anyway.
I'll just tell the wife they won't fit.
