thought you guys might enjoy this... pulling out of the pits http://videos.streetfire.net/video/1badburbs-427ci-Corvette_174745.htm The run (the slowest one of the day in 95* heat) 11.61@131mph http://videos.streetfire.net/video/1badburb-vs-Stealth07C6_174747.htm
:yumyum: I've alway loved that car. I've seen ya at c&c and other shows/forums around. And I will now kindly demand a ride ....deal?
That's a mean car AJ, I remember the 06 SLXi ride when you were shredding the tires doing donuts. Nice video!
:laugh::laugh: next time we meet up, we can arrange this! LOL But thank you for the compliments! LOL...yea, posted the vid for ya below... I was planning on doing it at the 08' Kickoff but the car wasn't ready, i decided not to bring out the car. Brian and i opted do have the Drift team there instead which turned out nicely.
looks slow... ha hah a now that has got to be an interesting ride in the snow... no wonder you got Bills old car
are you related to one of the guys at SLXi? I believe it was nick that told me someone got an STi, and I thought he said it was his brother.
no im not related to the guys at slxi, but i am very good friends with Brian and nick. i work for them buying bikes and odd jobs... Brian and i went to college together and we ride together quite often in the summer. we organize rides and events for bikers in the cities... Thanks all!!! Aj
427ci motor built auto trans built rear diff dual 3" exhaust with electric cutouts, no cats full suspension (sway bars and coilovers) 6pt roll cage and harnesses full interior, a/c, all accessories. it can be a daily driven car with no issues. car made 535rwhp and 567 rwtq, all naturally aspirated. the drag runs were made on drag radials from early 2000 so they were old and pretty much warn out, but i managed a 1.67 60' on that. next yr i plan on using a nice set of slicks and skinnies and get that 60' down to the 1.5's and a 1/4 of 10.7 or so... not impossible for this thing.
haha..thanks..that was my FIRST mod i did. i absoluted hated the stock pop ups and the light output was horrible... swapped to projectors and HID and its amazing!!! the install took about 26hrs though... very time consuming as the kit was a horse**** version of the real C5R LeMan race cars. Aj
Wow, nice mods and great run. Impressive 60ft times too... it aint like a subaru where (up until ~350wtq and decent tires) you can floor it and forget it.
At MidOhio a few years back you could buy a pair of those headlights off the actual LeMans cars for about $2,000/headlight. I think i've told you that before at one of the Hopkins meets...anyways. I don't think I've heard a car louder than this. You and that RX-7 were ridiculous.
