Last night while I was stuck in traffic, my idle was at 2k and my engine temp was raising. I turned off the car when it reached the 3/4 line. Once I got into some open air I had no problems at all. I am going to burp for bubbles right now, but I also noticed only my right fan (when staring at the bay from the front) only turns on with the A/C. The left one doesn't spin. Is it supposed to?

    2003 wrx engine.

They work separately and a fan failure should generate a CEL.

when discribing the locaion of a part, do so as if you were sitting behind the drivers wheel.

I have a extra rad fan nib aftermarket stock replacement if you need to purchase a new one. If you need to check it plug the green test/flash connectors by drivers left foot together and it should cycle on and off like crazy
