Excellent times at the Chili cook-off last night. Too many varieties to count. Mark Utecht ran away with yet another win in the Group 5 category (hot):yumyum: Scandia's chicken wild rice soup was most excellent as well:yumyum::yumyum: Here's a couple of shots of the cakes brought to you by Rallywife (Utecht car) and Ylime (rally road)
yep you failed big time...it was a lot of fun! god i am craving those pumpkin bars like no other...wish i got the recipe.
I can help with the recipe. I sleep with that particular baker. I will post it here once I can contact her. If for some reason I forget, send me a PM.
I was over at CPD Saturday before the Chili Cook Off and they were hard at work. Your car is looking good!
yea I was up there sat and sunday, she's coming along! it'll be a couple long weekends to finish all the prep on my end though. but most of the wiring is trimmed down - it might even still run! now I just need to find a cheap 2.5i motor. n/a STI here I come!
Here's the pumpkin bar recipe. 4 eggs 1 cup Veg. oil 1 15oz. can of pumpkin 2 cups flour 2 cups sugar 2 Tbsp baking powder 1 tsp baking soda 2 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp ginger 1/2 tsp cloves 1/2 tsp nutmeg Combine eggs, oil and pumpkin, mix until smooth. Add dry ingredients and mix until smooth. Pour into greased and floured jelly roll pan. Bake at 350 until toothpick comes out clean. Cool bars completely. Frosting 8oz cream cheese 1 cup soft butter 2 cups powdered sugar Mix until smooth and frost onto cool pumpkin bars.
nasa events are far away and I highly doubt I could get a waiver to run (even with a 28mm or smaller restrictor) for 09. if I swap in a 2.5i motor and run the car in Open Light I can accumulate a lot of coefficients without ever leaving the state (finishing both regional rallies at ojibwe would already have me at 6). however, the major question is whether or not I can afford to run in 09. but if someone finds a cheap 2.5i motor around, lmk!
Where's the nearest NASA event? I have no idea. But I don't think it's close. This is kinda R-A's backyard.
yeah, they're not close by any means...here's last years schedule http://www.nasarallysport.com/calendar.php
Also, if you go do the Team O'Neil 4-day, you can take the licensing seminar too (included in price) and that nets you 4 coefficients right there.
