So, I picked up a set of gray on black Classic flaps for my 07 wagon. I erred by not checking to see whether or not they are direct fitment. They're not. Bolt patterns for the front a substantially different. Rear are fine. So, one of two things: 1) Did anyone else do this for a 06-07 wagon? If so, how did you handle it (and can you give a brutha a hand)?; or 2) Does somebody want to buy them off me? I paid $95 and only one flap was even removed from the package. Thanks, Sean
You just drilled a new hole above the existing flap hole (hehe) or did you actually drill a new hole in the flap and on the car?
I got the wrong flaps on the group buy I did with Martin too. I ordered 93-01 Impreza flaps and got something different (the packaging didn't say what they were for) I sold the car to my buddy who before returning them drilled all new holes and said it was a major PITA.
Well, you can see all the detail on the RA site for wagons. Only two of the pre-drilled hole locations exist, stock, on my car, and one has to be relocated. The third must be drilled through the skirt which does have an indentation and existing hole behind it and the fourth, well, doesn't exist. As I stated, I assumed and... I got a set of 2.5i OE flaps which are direct fitment. I'm going to paint to match my car.
