Hey all, As you know from the feeler post Rally Armor is willing to give us a price break on their mud flaps if we do a group buy in. (feeler thread: http://www.mnsubaru.com/forums/showthread.php?t=18202&page=3 ) The price break is only available if we order more than 10 sets of flaps from them. Also the discount is super but if we do combined shipping you will still be saving a decent amount of change. "We would be able to provide a 6% discount to UR flap purchases (minimum buy in is 10 flaps – any mixture of flap applications) and a 4% discount on the Classic mud flaps. Keep in mind that Classic style flaps are currently the only GC/GF chassis flaps available. For GD, we would recommend the URs for your club members as your winters can get pretty cold and that “flex factor” for lowered vehicles is an added bonus; just a recommendation." They highly recommend the UR flaps for winter driving since they are less prone to shattering. well, I'm a tentative yes. 1 set of black UR's for 2007 WRX...don't think they come in different lettering but blue on black if possible.
yeah martin how much time do we have to decide, i dont know yet if i want to drop a hundred bucks on some flaps to get sawed off in a week
Thanks for the posts. Please make sure to include if you have a wagon or not so i can get the order correct. I am not quite sure how long the GB will last. It will be open for most likely another week or so. I will be emailing rally armor and discussing things with them.
I hear ya on that. But, unfortunately I'm in a possition where time is worth more than money to me right now. I just want something that fits, no hassle, and no amature DIY look, and I just don't have the time to hack away at rubermaid bins or truck flaps just to have them look like an uncle bens chop job. At $100, it's worth it to me to not have to deal.
I am in for a set. of UR. Black with black or any lettering that is low key would be nice but would take the black with red letters if I have to. 05 STi

I'll take black text if I can get it. Otherwise it looks like red is the standard. Maybe the RA people will clearify that.
The RA website doesn't show anything other than red text, I would take blue if it was available black as a second and red as a third
You have me down for the urethanes but they don't make the 93-01 flaps in urethane (nor do I want them) Does it work for the classic flaps?
Zombie thanks for the correction i will change that in the 1st post. I just got an email from rally armor. The classic flaps are available in a variety of colors, the URs are only available with red logos. "In answer to your questions, the Classics are available however with black, red, blue and grey logos. The URs are better suited for lowered vehicles in very low temps although the URs are currently only available with a screened red logo."
It's a saving of $3.80-7.50. Just go buy'm. Side note, the new "basic" flaps look mighty interesting....
all we need is a 10th person and the buy will go off. no 10th we cant get a price break. if need be we could just buy in with 9 and combine shipping.
I'm up for that too. Maybe we should just put a cutoff time for the GB and if we don't get a 10th buyer, we should just order them and combine shipping.
They need 10 pairs of flaps ordered to cut us a deal. This group buy will close on the 31st of august or as soon as we get a 10th pair ordered.
Listen up! Just talked to Rally Armor, they are going to let us get the discount with only a 9 person buy in. This is very nice of them. As I said before the GB will be open until friday so if anyone else wants in please hop on this before then. On saturday I will be placing the order.
