Sad. Helicopters scare me in general and I've been in a few. There's not even the *hope* of somehow gliding down - you just drop like a rock.

a lot of them nowadays you can autorotate (or something) which allows you to float down.... just need to be a good pilot to do it...

this is indeed a tradgedy.... but tradgedy to me is all the genocides in Africa and the like, not some guy who is a legend driver...
